SMB File Access Blocked For Windows Pro After Win11 24H2 Update . . . Drive mappings were still working, Macrium backup to the NAS was still working, and Qfinder mostly worked, but I couldn't access the QNAP in Windows Explorer After more fiddling and Googling, I found a YouTube video (with linked articles) that explains that the 24H2 Update changes one or two default settings in SMB

Qfinder finds NAS but wont connect, cant ping ip So I have tried connecting my laptop directly to the NAS and use Qfinder, which shows an ip of 169 254 8 159, but it won't connect to this ip and pinging it has no response
